Way back, when I was a girl both my Momma and Gram had fancy berry bowls sets. A set consisted of a medium serving bowl and 6 small fruit dishes. I felt elegant eating wild huckleberries out of Gram's pink depression glass berry dishes!
One birthday my sister, Jann sent me a gift card along with a catalogue filled with beautiful glassware. I chose a lovely set of berry dishes made in France! Now I continue the time honored tradition of serving our berries in this special way!

Getting back to basics is a simpler more deliberate way of living, but simpler doesn't always mean easier. It takes real dedication! Then again what could be more simple, basic or beautiful than a pretty berry dish filled with strawberries, blueberries and perfectly ripe red raspberries . . . Over at Julie's!!!
