California poppy . . . honey bees run around in a circle collecting pollen!
Pollinating out almond tree.
Reminds me of a Renoir water color.
Beautiful, and exotic looking, wild flower.Sisters pollinating our Santa Rosa plum tree.
Dainty purple blossoms!
Two of my favorite things . . . Our honey bees and the delicate smell of apple blossoms!
Is it a lily?Pink and Red Poppies!
These were a delightful surprise in the midst of our wild flowers . . . Any idea what they are?
I am so thankful I didn't throw out those old seed packets of wildflowers! Way back, last October I was preparing new flower beds along our driveway. The dirt was full of so many stones! I had to haul out buckets and buckets of stones to prepare the soil for planting . . . As you can see from these photos, it was well worth it! Their beauty has brought such joy . . . to walkers, runners, bicyclers, horseback riders, even folk driving by in their vehicles, and of course, all of us . . . Over at Julie's!!!
