AJ and the Birthday PJs

I wanted to make some fun and funky PJs for AJ's birthday.

At Jo-Ann Fabrics I found tee shirts in assorted colors, 4 for $10. I picked out an easy pajama pattern from NEWLOOK, pattern #6932, size 1/2 - 8 for the pants. The material I chose in bright pink, green, orange and purple floral was on sale. For the pant's ruffle I used some of my fabric stash at home. I used my 50% off coupon to buy a cute sparkly iron-on flower. Finally, I embellished the flower by embroidering a stem and leaves in green embroidery floss.

Hannah and Grams working on AJ's pjs!

AJ's sister, Hannah "helped" me with the sewing!

Our beautiful 8 year old!

Smiley Faces! AJ modeling her new PJs.

Now AJ has one of a kind, custom pajamas made by Grams . . . over at Julie's!!!
